Bwlchgwyn Farm Pony Trekking Centre is a family run business, established in 1957. Bwlchgwyn has a good selection of horses and ponies suitable for persons of all ages and abilities. Our Trekking Centre offers one or two hourly treks each day to meet all customer needs. Experienced, friendly and competant staff accompany all the treks. Non riders as well as experienced riders are very welcome as no previous experience is necessary. Safety hats are provided free of charge and are up to date with the British and European standards.

Estuary Trek - £20 per horse.

Suitable for the complete beginer/novice  (ie families with young children from 4yrs up)
Trek along our own farm land in amongst the resident sheep and wildelife,with magnificent views of the Mawddach Estuary,and Cader Idris mountain range in the distance.

Beach Trek (Novice) - £30 per horse.

Suitable for complete beginners/novices (from 8yrs up if accompanied)
Trek down through our own farm land to Fairbourne beach. This is just at a walking/trekking pace. We do not mix abilities unless a more experienced person wishes to stay with their less exp friend.

Beach Trek (Experienced riders only) - £40 per horse.

This Ride is the same as above but when you get to the beach your guide will take you in an opposite direction to the novices and you can have a steady canter/gallop along the golden sand and along the waters edge. 
This ride is for the very experienced regular rider who  is experienced in riding out in open space.

For the sake of your safety and enjoyment and the safety and enjoyment of other riders please do not over estimate your riding ability.

Horse riding is a risk sport and Equines are animals and therefore can behave unpredictably at any time.  However here at Bwlchgwyn we do our best to make riding as safe and enjoyable for our customers as we can.
